Mary Beth Pizzoli was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and began studying art at the age of 12 when her family moved to Taos, New Mexico. She studied with well-known Taos artists and then at a summer art institute at the University of Kansas. Her family moved to Santa Fe, where she later received a BA in Management and worked for several years in the field of Human Resources. In Santa Fe, she has studied with many well-known regional artists. A full-time artist since 2000, she has been represented by galleries in Northern New Mexico and Oklahoma and spent 20 years exhibiting at outdoor art shows in Arizona, Colorado, cities in New Mexico and the Santa Fe area, including the Santa Fe Society of Artists and the Northern New Mexico Fine Arts and Crafts Guild. Detours gift shop at La Fonda, Santa Fe's historic hotel, carries Mary Beth's miniature oil paintings. Mary Beth was on the board of the Santa Fe Society of Artists for many years and has also been active with other arts groups in the area. Her work is in numerous private and business collections, and she is the recipient of several show awards.
